세 가지 표현 모두 시작은 That's great! or That's fantastic!

(친한 친구 사이에서는 욕부터 박는 경우도 있다고...ㅋㅋ)

 

# 잘됐다.

• That's great(fantastic)! I'm so happy for you! : 좋은 일이 생겼을 때 모든 상황에서 다 쓸수 있음.
• That's great(fantastic)! Good for you! : 좋은 일 중 성취감이 느껴지는 일에 어울리는 말

<example>

A: I finally asked her to marry me.

B: Yeah? And?

A: She said "Yes"!

B: Oh! That's fantastic! I'm so happy for you!

 

# 좋겠다.

• That's great(fantastic)! That must be really/so nice! (우리나라와 관점이 감정보다는 상황이라는 것이 특징!)
• That's great(fantastic)! You must be happy. : 인생에 있어 전반적인 행복을 가져다줄 때 쓰임. 사용 빈도가 낮음.
• That's great(fantastic)! You must be excited(psyched)! : 위의 문장 보다는 사용 빈도가 높음. 캐주얼한 표현* psyched : 들뜬
• That's great(fantastic)! You must be really proud. : "정말 자랑스러우시겠어요~" 영어에서는 무난한 표현
